The Delta Society is an Australian wide Volunteer Pet Therapy Program. Here at South West Healthcare we are privileged to have these generous volunteers visiting our patients with their beautiful, well trained & happy dogs.
How to access this service
Pet Therapy Volunteers & their dogs visit South West Healthcare Warrnambool Base on a weekly basis. Nursing staff in Medical, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Acute & Haemodialysis Units provide a list of in-patients to be visited by the therapy dogs & their handlers.
