Perinatal Emotional Health Program

The Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) is a voluntary program of South West Healthcare Mental Health Services that provides family centred psychological care for women and or partners during pregnancy and up to one year post birth. 

Supporting the well-being of women, partners and families, the Perinatal Emotional Health Program provides:

  • Individualised Assessment
  • Counselling & Support
  • Referral Advice
  • Education
  • Flexibility of Centre visits, Tele-health and Home Visits

The Perinatal Emotional Health Program services the:

  • Corangamite Shire
  • Glenelg Shire
  • Moyne Shire
  • Southern Grampians Shire
  • City of Warrnambool

Perinatal Emotional Health Program services are provided to people who willingly engage in assessment and treatment. The program incurs no cost.

Referrals

You may discuss a referral to the Perinatal Emotional Health Program with your General Practitioner, maternity care provider or Maternal & Child Health Nurse.

Or you may self-refer; telephone yourself.
