The Women's and Maternity Services unit comprises of 14 beds and 5 birthing suites across two campuses and provides expertise in women's health care including pregnancy, birth, postnatal care and gynaecological conditions.

Women’s and maternity services Camperdown: 1 birthing suite + 2 beds

Women’s and maternity services Warrnambool : 4 birthing suites + 12 beds

How to access this service

SWH provides pregnancy and gynaecological care to women in South West Victoria. For an appointment you will need a referral letter from your General Practitioner (GP) to access services in the Women’s Health Service (WHS).

Patient information

  • What to bring

    • Your Medicare card
    • A list of medications that you are currently taking
    • Any relevant cards (Health Care Card)

    For all antenatal or pregnancy appointments you must bring your hand held record (Victorian Medical Record or ‘VMR’) and pregnancy care booklet that you will have received at your first ‘Booking in’ visit in pregnancy.

  • After your appointment

    Following your appointment your doctor will organise further appointments as required.
